Please note, initial injection mold tooling will only provide a size Large (L) fin, which generally corresponds to men's size 9-13, or womens’s size 10-14, depending on the boot used. The next size available will be Medium (M). A production date for size Medium has not been set. All sizes of Truefin Models 110 will accept the same spines.

What's in the box?

Truefin is currently shipped with standard Blue '412 spines installed, and with separately packaged heel straps.

The heel straps currently provided with Truefin Model 110 size Large are stainless steel spring straps Trident R559 Medium Standard Spring Style Fin Strap with Quick Release Side Tabs (http://www.tridentdive.com/). The heel strap posts are industry standard (large posts - 20mm flange/13mm post) and accept different styles and brands of common fin straps. Some users may prefer popular brands of bungee strap styles, or alternatively (for example) Trident RPH64 Universal Fin Straps, or ratcheting Trident RP48 fin straps generally available at divestores throughout the US.

NOTE: Truefin requires high quality heel straps of ratcheting or non elastic style during military or Coast Guard activities involving jumping out of helicopters with snorkel or scuba equipment and with freefall heights typically 15-20 feet. Spring or bungee style heel straps should not be used when jumping out of helicopters.

Current color scheme of the fin is black Monprene with white chassis.

Colors may be different from those displayed on a computer monitor.

NOTE: All spine bases #10000, #11000, and #12000 are geometrically identical, and only differ in color.

Buoyancy

All components of Truefin Model 110 with the exception of the heel strap are nonmetallic in order to eliminate corrosion and minimize weight. Truefin size LARGE total weight is 3.11 pounds per fin excluding heel strap. Truefin size LARGE is slightly negatively buoyant at -0.52 ounce (-0.0325 pounds / 15 grams) per fin excluding heel strap in salt water. Shipping & Returns

Truefin has a sixty (60) day no questions asked return policy, and a limited lifetime warranty.

Warranty note: The earlier two year warranty has been updated (retroactive) to a limited lifetime warranty. All product sold with the two year warranty is now covered under the limited lifetime warranty below.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

TrueFin, LLC (“TrueFin”) warrants to the original end user customer (the “End User”) that all new TrueFin products (the “Equipment”) shall be free from defects in material and workmanship. TrueFin warrants to the End User that Equipment that proves faulty by reason of defects in material or workmanship or is made inoperative during normal use by the End User for its intended purpose will be repaired or replaced by TrueFin. The End User acknowledges that normal use of the Equipment for its intended purpose shall, in all cases, be subject to any instructions and guidelines provided by TrueFin governing the appropriate use or operation of the Equipment. TrueFin will, at its option, either repair or replace any faulty Equipment on an exchange basis, with new Equipment or Equipment refurbished to be functionally equivalent to new Equipment. If TrueFin, in its sole discretion, is unable to repair or replace any faulty Equipment, it will refund to the End User the current retail sales price of the Equipment at the time the warranty claim is made by the End User.

This limited lifetime warranty (the “Warranty”) does not extend to heel straps provided with the Equipment, if any, or to any damage to Equipment caused by inappropriate or unauthorized use, maintenance, repair, nor any alteration, abuse or neglect by the End User. Except for new and unused Equipment, cosmetic damage, such as surface scrapes, scuffs and discoloration are not covered under this limited lifetime warranty.

This Warranty is extended only to the End User for the Equipment purchased from an authorized TrueFin retailer or seller and only covers the repair, replacement or refund for faulty Equipment. TrueFin will not be liable for any loss, injury, special or consequential damages, or direct or indirect damages to any person, entity, or property due to a fault or defect in the Equipment, including lost profits damages.

This Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties. Except as stated herein, The implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and all other warranties, express or implied, are excluded from this warranty. This Limited LIFETIME Warranty states the sole and exclusive remedy available TO END USER from TrueFin, namely repair, replacement or refund, at TrueFin’s sole discretion.

Any claims made pursuant to this Warranty must be in writing and shall be either sent by email transmission, or mailed by certified mail, return receipt requested, postage prepaid, and addressed to TrueFin, LLC at: 19363 Willamette Drive #508, West Linn, Oregon USA 97068. All claims shall be deemed to be given on the earlier of the date the email transmission was transmitted and receipt confirmed, or the expiration of the second day after the date of certification of mailing.
